Our History

Vestal Hills Memorial Park was founded in 1931. Visitors can find comfort in the quiet dignity of the garden areas or enjoy the breathtaking view from Liberty Terrace or the Tower of Memories Mausoleum, which serves as a well-known community landmark. Locals often visit the Tower of Memories Mausoleum at Easter for sunrise services. Other special features of Vestal Hills Memorial Park include Mirror Lake, the Garden of Love, the Garden of Devotion, and the Chimes Tower, which rings hourly throughout the surrounding Vestal and Binghamton hills. Another item to note about Vestal Hills is that the Park has a historic designation as a result of its renowned engineers, architects, and landscape designers of the 1930s. – Hoadley & Giles, Civil Engineers of Binghamton, NY, and C. W. McClune & Sons, – Landscape Architects of Buffalo, NY.
